Swiss E-Dec
When do I need software for electronic export declarations?
The Federal Customs Administration (FCA) has switched the export procedure to the new digital system, Passar. Since January 1, 2026, Passar has been mandatory for all exports, replacing the old e-dec Export system.

Instant release with Passar
Once the data is captured, it is immediately transmitted to Passar. Thanks to Passar’s automatic authorization check, you receive the release of the approved export in real time. Since you create the export documents yourself, you always maintain a clear overview and can access the corresponding dossier at any time.

With the process navigator in Swiss e-dec, you can monitor your exports at any time. Whether your goods are on track or there are delays – with the monitoring function, you always have your cargo movements in view and can take immediate action if problems arise. Forms, templates, and document management
Important forms such as EUR.1, EUR.1 CN, forwarding orders, and pro forma invoices can be created directly in Swiss e-dec. Alternatively, you can prepare templates based on previous forms.
