Passar, e-dec administration and new platform: The big December update

The end of the year is approaching, and we have important news for you. Here are the three key topics that will affect your customs operations in the coming weeks:

1. Our new Trade-Monkey platform will go live at the beginning of December.

With a new look and a new API interface! To make the transition from e-dec to Passar as easy as possible, we have put together a video tutorial for you. In it, we show you how to use the new Passar goods declaration.

All e-dec customers will receive direct access to the new platform starting in early December (info to follow by email). Manual data entry will become redundant, and the process will be easier. Some details will no longer be required in the future, such as NZE codes or the authorization requirement.

2. e-dec administration will be migrated to the new platform in 2026

The Customs Client Management (ZKV) is being replaced by the ePortal. Import vouchers (eVV) will continue to be collected via your ZAZ account until the migration of ZAZ accounts to the GP-ID. (expected second/third quarter of 2026) … and with the valid certificate.

As a result, the environment of your Swiss eVV license remains unchanged for the time being. Further information will follow regularly in upcoming blog posts and via our newsletter.

3. New features in your Trade Monkey software

Our new platform is continuously being expanded with additional features. Upcoming features include additional API interfaces for master data and addresses. We will keep you updated on this.

Important: Registration in the BAZG ePortal by 31.12.2025

If you have not yet registered your company in the BAZG ePortal, you must do so by 31.12.2025.

Otherwise, you will no longer be able to declare exports/goods declarations as of 01.01.2026. As a result, you will be dependent on customs agencies and/or freight forwarders. This, in turn, will result in significant costs for you.
